This week I am excited to have a person on that I have admired her work for years. She has been a huge influence on how I design and how I teach. I am pleased to introduce y’all to Kimberly Elam, she is a writer, educator, and graphic designer. She teaches at Ringling College of Art + Design in Sarasota, Florida. She has written three best-selling books “Geometry of Design,” “Grid Systems,” and “Typographic Systems.”
These books feature her educational research and methodology which she brings into the classroom. Throughout the past ten years Kim has given presentations, led panels, and conducted workshops at over twenty different professional and educational venues throughout the United States and abroad.
