Kevin Greene // Finding Time & Finding Freelance

Episode 274. Aired October 24, 2018.

Or listen here.

Do you have a full time job, want to freelance, but aren’t sure how to do both? Do you wonder how you can possibly meet clients AND be at work at the same time? Right you can’t. But find out how my guest this week is able to freelance and hold down an art director position full time.

Do you struggle with finding Time to unwind and destress?

This week I am so stoked to finally interview my friend, Kevin Greene. We have an unusual meeting story that we will share with you. Which really explains why I love Kevin so much. He is friendly, dependable, funny, a great conversationalist, great with people, AND SUPER TALENTED as a designer and illustrator.

This week we will touch on some of reasons why Kevin is able to juggle so much and how he recharges.

Kevin is not only an awesome art director and designer he also is on the board of the United Design Guild as the Community Leader. Because Kevin is all about community and bringing people together. He has always been able to laugh at himself and doesn’t take himself too seriously. He is willing to grow and is full of ideas for side projects but short on time for them. He recently started a new podcast, Fireside Podcast, with his good buddy Mike Sulick.

How much does personality play in his ability to obtain freelance clients? I will let you be the judge. I think Kevin’s personality and his ability to embrace failure and laugh at himself has a lot to do with Kevin’s success both at work and while freelancing.

This episode will dig into how to manage your time and your energy. Also developing relationships that get you freelance work.
